Welcome to Victoria Ann Handmade! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services, including but not limited to the preservation and custom framing of your wedding bouquet. By using our website, placing an order, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Services
At Victoria Ann Handmade, we specialize in preserving the beauty of your wedding bouquet and other special occasion florals. Our services include the drying, preservation, and custom framing of flowers, creating lasting mementos of your most cherished memories.
We offer various preservation methods, including but not limited to silica gel drying, resin encapsulation, as well as framing options to suit your personal preferences.
2. Placing an Order
To place an order with us, please follow the steps outlined on our website or contact us directly for assistance.
Schedule your Appointment
A nonrefundable reservation payment is required at the time of booking to secure your preservation spot and production window. This payment will be applied toward your final order.
Confirmation
Once you have scheduled your appointment and paid your deposit with us, an automated email from our website will outline your appointment confirmation, flower care delivery instructions, and a coupon code for your nonrefundable $100 deposit paid to go towards your order balance.
Deposit
Clients are responsible for applying their reservation credit at the time of product checkout. Credits cannot be applied retroactively once an order has been placed.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. However, we offer payment plans and accept many forms of payment via credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, etc.
Once payment is received, you will receive an email confirming your order and outlining the next steps.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Dropping Your Bouquet to Us
You are responsible for dropping off your bouquet to Victoria Ann Handmade shop in Eden Prairie, MN. We recommend assigning a trusted family member or friend to drop off your bouquet for you at your scheduled appointment time for a stress-free option.
RESCHEDULING - you are responsible for communicating drop-off contact information to us as well as inform us of any drop-off scheduling time changes. Flower arrival dates may be rescheduledup to one month in advance without any additional fees. Any last-minute changes less than a month before your scheduled drop-off date will incur a $100 inconvenience fee.
Please carefully follow the flower care and drop-off instructions provided by us to avoid damage to your flowers that may affect your flower preservation outcome. While we take great care in handling your bouquet, we are not responsible for damage caused by improper care or delivery.
Ensure that the bouquet is sent to the correct address sent to you in your email confirmation; any misdelivery due to an incorrect shipping address is the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping Your Bouquet to Us
You are responsible for shipping, including costs, of your bouquet to Victoria Ann Handmade shop in Eden Prairie, MN. We recommend using a reliable, traceable shipping method to ensure the bouquet’s safe arrival.
Please carefully follow the packaging guidelines provided by us to avoid damage during transit. While we take great care in handling your bouquet, we are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.
Ensure that the bouquet is sent to the correct address sent to you in your email confirmation; any misdelivery due to an incorrect shipping address is the responsibility of the customer.
Victoria Ann Handmade is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged bouquets. Victoria Ann Handmade is not liable for anything that happens to the flowers during the event or during transit. We prepare for each order by buying all necessary supplies ahead of time. We do not offer full refunds for lost, stolen or damaged bouquets.
Shipping Your Preserved Bouquet Back
After your bouquet has been preserved, we will carefully package it up for you. You may pick it up from our shop in Eden Prairie, MN for free or opt for shipping at cost.
Shipping costs for the return of your bouquet are not included in your order price. You are responsible for shipping payments due before your order is shipped out. You will receive an invoice directly to your email with your shipping costs due upon receipt. Your item(s) will not ship out to you until the shipping balance is paid. Failure to pay your shipping balance within 1 year, your order becomes the property of Victoria Ann Handmade.
Delivery times may vary based on the influx of orders and other factors, but we strive to ship all orders within 28-36 weeks from receipt of your bouquet. However, this is not an exact timeline, as it depends on many factors including the influx of current orders (fall brides can expect a longer turnaround time due to it being high wedding season), how big your order is, your response rate for approving your design layout, etc. We want to make sure all the details of your forever resin piece are perfect before shipping it to you.
4. Bouquet Preservation Process
Nature of Floral Preservation
Flower preservation is both a scientific and artistic process. Because every preservation is created using real flowers, each piece is completely unique and will naturally differ from the fresh bouquet.
Victoria Ann Handmade uses professional preservation techniques, including silica drying, pressing, resin encapsulation, and framing, to achieve the highest-quality results possible. However, natural changes during the preservation process are expected and are not considered defects.
These changes may include, but are not limited to:
White flowers becoming ivory, cream, yellow, or light brown
Red and deep-colored flowers becoming darker burgundy, maroon, or plum
Slight fading or color variation
Minor petal cracking, curling, or texture changes
Bruising or translucent areas ("love spots") after resin pouring
Some tropical flowers or greenery drying brown and/or not preserving successfully due to their excess moisture
Slight changes in flower shape, size, or orientation during drying
Optional color correction is available for qualifying flowers for an additional fee.
Handcrafted Artwork
Every preservation is individually handcrafted using your own flowers and is never manufactured. Because of the handmade nature of the process, minor characteristics are inherent to every piece and are not considered workmanship defects.
These may include, but are not limited to:
Tiny botanical fragments from delicate filler flowers
Small air bubbles
Resin layer lines
Minor particles visible despite careful finishing
Slight flower movement during resin encapsulation
Glue visibility within pressed flower frames
Minor variations in finish or surface texture
Victoria Ann Handmade takes great pride in producing heirloom-quality preservations and will always make every reasonable effort to create the highest-quality finish possible.
Design Approval
Customers receive one complimentary design proof for each main preservation piece. Additional design revisions may be purchased, while minor flower design swaps are complimentary when possible.
Design proofs are intended to serve as a guide for the overall composition rather than an exact blueprint. Once a design has been approved and production begins, minor adjustments to flower placement, spacing, orientation, or composition may be necessary due to the natural characteristics of the flowers and the preservation process.
While every effort is made to recreate the approved design as closely as possible, exact flower placement cannot be guaranteed. During resin pours and final assembly within a frame, flowers may shift slightly or require repositioning to ensure proper fit, structural integrity, and the highest-quality finished piece. Any necessary adjustments will be made at the artist's discretion while preserving the overall look and feel of the approved design.
Resin Aging & Care
The premium resin used by Victoria Ann Handmade is crystal clear, UV-resistant, and formulated for long-term preservation. However, all resin naturally ages over time and may gradually develop a subtle amber tone.
This is a normal characteristic of resin and is not considered a defect. Following the care instructions provided with your preservation—including avoiding prolonged direct sunlight, will help maximize the longevity of your piece.
Victoria Ann Handmade is not responsible for the natural aging process of resin over time.
Unused Flowers
Unused or leftover flowers may be discarded after the preservation process unless their return is requested before production begins. Requests to return remaining flowers may incur an additional fee. Please note that flowers not encapsulated in resin or professionally framed will continue to age, fade, and become increasingly fragile over time.
Estimated Timeline
The current estimated turnaround time for resin bouquet preservations is approximately 7–9 months. This timeframe is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed completion date.
Because every preservation is individually handcrafted, timelines may vary depending on the preservation style, the number and size of products ordered, design revisions, the condition and complexity of the flowers, curing and finishing times, and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during production.
The preservation process is intentionally slow to ensure heirloom-quality results. At Victoria Ann Handmade, quality will always take priority over speed, and preservations are never rushed at the expense of the finished piece.
Should your estimated completion timeline change, you will be notified of any significant updates throughout the preservation process.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations
If canceled at least 6 months before your flower arrival date, we will refund everything except a retainer fee of $50 or a cancellation fee of up to 50% may apply.
If requesting a cancellation within 6 months of your reserved date no refunds are accepted (including any deposits, fees, and product purchase payments). There are no exceptions to this.
Gift cards are non-refundable
Refunds
Due to the nature of our bespoke preservation services, we cannot offer refunds once a date is reserved.
If your bouquet is lost or damaged beyond repair during the shipping process, we will offer a partial refund or you may purchase a replica bouquet from our local florist to preserve.
For lost bouquets during shipping only: proof of lost package/bouquet will be required to submit in a request for a refund. We offer 50% product order refunds for bouquets that are lost in the mail and proven to be by proof of tracking number.
Damaged bouquets: You may still preserve your damaged bouquet with Victoria Ann Handmade. It is quite normal for some of the flowers to brown slightly in the mail. We usually can still preserve flowers that have undergone some browning (as long as the client knows that the final product will have browning). However, if your flowers have excessive browning, molding, wilting, mildew and/or rotting, we cannot dry or preserve them up to our standards. We will offer replacement blooms at cost.
Returns
Per our disclaimer, all Victoria Ann Handmade products are made without any warranty express or implied.
Personalized, custom items [e.g. wedding bouquet preservations] are sold on an as-is basis and cannot be returned.
Ready-made items may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a replacement item with the customer covering all shipping and handling costs.
6. Liability
Damage or Loss During Shipping: We are not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during the shipping of your bouquet to us or the return shipping of your preserved bouquet. It is recommended that you insure your package during transit.
We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to fire, flood, power failure, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events.
Limitations of Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the preservation service and does not include any sentimental or emotional value.
We are not responsible for any damage that occurs after your preserved piece has been delivered or picked up.
7. Intellectual Property
By submitting photos of your bouquet and any other personal materials, you grant Victoria Ann Handmade the right to use these images for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes. Your name will always be credited unless you request otherwise.
Victoria Ann Handmade retains all rights to the designs and techniques used in the preservation and framing of your bouquet. Any reproduction or use of our designs for commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.
8. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal information you provide, including names, addresses, and payment details, will be used solely for processing your order. However, if you opt for social sharing at the time of booking your appointment, we may tag your social handles in our posts featuring your order. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for further details on how we collect and use your data.
9. Modifications to Terms
Victoria Ann Handmade reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. All changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Minnesota. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Minnesota Judicial Branch.
